Do you want to learn how to draw a lion? I know I do, so let’s get started!
Let’s draw the lion’s head with eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and mane.
Step 1: First draw a rounded triangle as the nose and use your marker to color it black.
Step 2: From the lower tip of the nose, draw a smile-like curve towards the right and a smile line at the right end of the curve. Also, draw a small U-shaped arc at the lower center of the curve as the right side tooth.
Step 3: Draw two eyes with eyebrows, one above the right smile line and the second above the right corner of the nose.
Step 4: From the top center of the nose, draw the face of the lion curving along the two eyebrows, the right smile line, the right tooth, and the lower left nose to complete your line at the left side of the nose.
Step 5: Draw a small U-shaped arc below the lower left part of the nose curve as the left tooth.
Step 6: To draw the right ear, draw a small D-shaped semi-circle above the upper right side of the face and another curve along the semi-circle curve. Repeat the same on the left side of the head.
Step 7: The final part of the head is the mane. Draw a wavy heart shape around the face and the ears as the mane.
Let’s draw the lion’s legs
Step 8: Draw two front legs with paws on the lower right side of the mane. Connecting with a line, draw the back leg with claws.
Let’s draw the lion’s body and tail
Step 9: Draw a stretched S-like curve from the center of the right mane curve to connect to the back leg.
Step 10: Draw the tail behind the back leg with a tufted end.
Let’s paint
Step 11: Use a pink color to paint the inner semicircle of the ears. Use an orange color to paint the face, legs, body, and tail of the lion leaving out the nose, teeth, and tufted part of the tail. Use brown color to paint the mane, outer curve of the ears, and the tufted part of the tail.
