Toggle, Inc., a Des Moines, Iowa-based freight logistics service provider, closed a $1.6m seed funding from the city of Des Moines.
Toggle provides an on-demand freight matching service for shippers. The Toggle freight match app provides a SaaS logistics and digital freight platform that streamlines access to freight options for shippers, also increasing profitability for carriers and drivers.
Opening as a beta SaaS in September, Toggle will allow logistic companies to save both time and money on their supply chain with a transparent, real-time platform for companies shipping freight.
Using the platform, they will be able to intelligently anticipate and adjust route plans in order to make transit time more accurate, reducing wasted fuel, wasted resources, and unnecessary CO2 emissions.
Toggle’s technology, powered by its exclusive IP, provides real-time quotes and eliminates needless negotiation for both parties.
The company intends to use the funds to launch its platform.
