How it Works
Testing
Genes determine the “code” that tells your body how to work. Every choice you make will affect your life in a way that depends on your unique genes. Over 134 genes that affect metabolic rate, inflammation, detoxification, physical performance, body composition, hormone balance, mental clarity, and how dietary supplements work are looked at.
If you know how your genes affect these important processes, you can make better, more personalized decisions about your health. You might find out things you didn’t think were possible, like whether or not that second cup of coffee is a good idea.
Since a patient’s genes are so important to their health and well-being, 3X4 Genetics is focused on using genetic testing to personalize treatment.
With a simple DNA test kit, you can do at home, you can check over 134 genes related to metabolism, inflammation, detoxification, fitness, body weight, hormones, cognition, and how your body responds to dietary supplements.
Overall health, chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, and gut health are just some of the conditions that tests are used to diagnose and learn more about, and the list is growing.
3X4 Genetics Test + Blueprint Report
The 3X4 Genetics Test + Blueprint Report looks at 36 different aspects of health, such as diet, exercise, hormones, heart health, and brain function.
By being able to figure out a person’s genetic code, scientists have learned more about how many body systems work. Based on the results of these tests, the Blueprint Report is a set of personalized, doable steps that patients can take to improve their health and well-being.
The 3X4 Genetics Test + Blueprint Report looks at more than 134 genes that affect your metabolism, inflammation, detoxification, performance, weight, hormones, brain function, and how you react to food and supplements. In this study, you’ll find tips on how to deal with stress, eat well, exercise, and avoid getting sick.
The 3X4 Genetics Test + Blueprint Report gives patients a full analysis of their unique genetic profile, which may help them make the best decisions for disease prevention, early disease detection, and ongoing health.
If necessary, genetic testing lets preventive steps be taken, and it shows how health problems and wellness are caused at the cellular level.
Their at-home test is as simple and painless as a cheek swab. The inside of each cheek only needs to be rubbed hard with a cotton swab for 60 seconds. You don’t have to spit or bleed.
Each gene was chosen based on how well it was supported by science and how useful it could be in real life. The genes in the 3X4 Test were chosen based on what reliable scientific papers said about how reliable and valid they were. To make sure the gene is scientifically sound, we make sure there is enough research on how it works and how your specific gene variant affects your health. Your report only talks about the genes for which there is a clear way to reduce risk and improve health.
After a DNA sample is mailed in, it takes three to four weeks to get the results.
Your sample will be kept safe at a lab that they work with until they have enough information to give you a report.
After 90 days, when they get your report, they’ll throw away the sample.
Insurance
The most important thing for 3X4 Genetics is to keep their clients’ genetic information safe. How 3X4 Protects Genetic Data and our Privacy Statement give more information about the steps they take to protect the personal information of their customers.
The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) makes it illegal for employers and insurers to exclude or treat people differently because of their genetic information. At the moment, it doesn’t cover plans for health, dental, vision, or disability.
