How To Draw A Panda For Kids

Today we are going to learn how to draw and color a panda. This is a fun, easy-peasy, and well-detailed tutorial that teaches kids to draw and use different colors.

To make it easier, you can print our guide for use during the drawing process.

Essentials:

1. Pencil or marker

2. Paper

3. Colouring supplies

Let’s get started!

Let’s draw the panda’s head.

Step 1: First draw the outline of the head as a circle and the ears on both sides of the head.

Step 2: In the ears, draw two small arcs from the head attaching to the tips of the arcs, as shown below.

Step 3: To draw the eyes, draw a circle on one side of the head and another circle inside the outer one touching the lower point. Color the inside circle black. Draw an oval outside the outer circle touching both circles at the same lower point. Repeat on the other side to make two eyes.

Step 4: Draw a small oval nose at the center and below the eyes with an arc line above it. Use your marker to color the nose black.

Step 5: Draw the small mouth like a smile with smile lines and a line to join the center of the nose to the center of the mouth.

Step 6: Draw a tiny tongue below the mouth.

Let’s draw the panda’s body and legs.

Step 7: Draw two curves from both sides of the head downwards. Draw the hand from the right side curve and a second hand bending halfway and holding a branch from the left side curve.

Step 8: Draw the body of the panda as a big circle below the hands.

Step 9: Draw the legs, paws, and claws from the lower part of the body.

Let’s paint

Step 10: Use a light blue color to paint the head and the body of the panda leaving out the ears, eyes, tongue, hands, and legs.

Step 11: Use a pink color to paint the inner part of the ears, the foot circles and paws, and the tongue.

Step 12: Use black color to paint the outer part of the ears, legs, and hands.

Step 13: Use green color to paint the stick the panda is holding in its hand.

Finally, we have a cute panda drawing!

As they say, practice makes perfect, so keep practicing to perfect your drawing. Remember to share your sketch with your family and friends.
